The Chapters will be presenting ‘An Afternoon of Autumn Song’ at St. Peter’s Church, Dyrham, on Sunday 18th October 2009. The concert will begin at 3:00pm – free entry with a retiring collection for the church funds.
Tea, cake and other refreshments will be available in the hall after the performance.
The concert will begin with some light classical (Purcell’s Sound the Trumpet), moving through to some folk numbers (including Richmond Hill, and Blow the Wind Southerly) and ending with some spirituals (including “He aint heavy he’s my brother”). The concert will be interspersed with solo and duet numbers.
The venue is located adjacent to Dyrham Park, but you do not have to enter the National Trust Site to gain access. Please click on the above link for details.
